Funding opportunity in St.Helens:
This Section 106 fund allows people to apply for funding for landscape enhancement and community infrastructure projects in a specific area of St.Helens. The fund is available as a result of the new West East Link Pipeline being provided by United Utilities.

The Mersey Forest Partnership is offering grants to companies, landowners and non-profit organisations to:
- Establish new woodland - including MOREwoods in The Mersey Forest
- Improve habitats
- Bring neglected woods back into use
- Provide public access to
woodlands and open space.
Money is also available to:
- Assist new ventures with advice and business planning;
- Help purchase machinery, and to encourage timber-using businesses to develop new products using locally grown
wood.
- Rural businesses could also benefit from the Mersey Rural Leader programme.
