Social Forestry Officer

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Social Forestry Officer. Working on our exciting programme of tree planting and environmental education with primary school children, for the right candidate, this represents an opportunity to start a rewarding long-term career with a supportive employer offering lots of development opportunity.


You will have experience of successfully managing community projects and working effectively with a range of organisations. You will also have good understanding of sound forestry practice and be able to communicate the benefits of trees and woodlands to primary age children.


Full time, fixed term until December 2020, with an expectation of renewal based on performance and funding, and a salary of £24,174

Community Forester

We'e looking for an enthusiastic, career-minded individual to join our small but dynamic team as a Community Forester. Working on our Wood Allotments programme supported by the Woodland Trust, for the right candidate this represents an opportunity to start a rewarding long-term career with a supportive employer offering lots of development opportunity.


You will have experience of successfully managing community projects and working effectively with a range of organisations. You will also have a good understanding of sound forestry practice and be able to support community groups and work with land owners to develop Wood Allotment projects.


Full time, fixed term until March 2019, with an expectation of renewal based on performance and funding being available, on a salary of £24,174.
