Nest Box Making

BTCV member teaching a child how to make a nest box

Friends of Anderton and Marbury will be holding their annual event as part of National Nest Box Week. Join in and create your own bird box to take away and put in your own garden! This is a great opportunity to put your DIY skills to practice!

 

The workshop will take place on Saturday 11th February 2012, from 10am to 4pm, at Marbury Country Park.

 

The event is free of charge, however any donations are welcome.

Nosey Nature Day

An example of the natural diversity of griffin wood

Join Fungal Punk Dave for a day of identifying the wonderful assortment of natural wonders at Griffin Wood in St Helens!

 

Survey equipment including nets, hand lenses and identification sheets/posters/leaflets will be provided to attendees. The team also hopes to set moth traps the night before.

 

The expedition will begin from 10am on Sunday 20th May.

 

Number are limited, so book in advance to avoid disappointment!
