Tom Butlin from The Mersey Forest and Chris Chambers from Ordnance Survey will give a presentation entitled 'Developing a Green Infrastructure Strategy Using GIS as the Basis for a Valuation Analysis Toolkit' at this action-packed conference.

The theme of the conference, which will take place at the offices of Alan Baxter & Associates LLP in London, is Regeneration and the Environment: The Benefits of Using Geographic Information.

RICS Scotland seminars: Mapping green infrastructure

The Mersey Forest's Tom Butlin and Ordnance Survey's Chris Chambers will introduce green infrastructure mapping at this pair of seminars in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The events will also cover the valuation toolkit - used to put an economic value on the benefits provided by existing or planned green infrastructure.

 

The first seminar will be held at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Tuesday 1st May 2012, with the second taking place the following day at Edinburgh's Strathmore Business Centre.
