Creating value from woodlands: new opportunities for funding

30 March 2021

Are you interested in creating value from woodlands? Watch our recent half-day event giving up to date information on the funding opportunities.
In March the Institute of Chartered Foresters hosted an online event on our behalf looking at developments in community forestry. Led by England's Community Forests, the Trees for Climate programme will see over 6,000 hectares of trees established in ten Community Forests across England in the next five years. This looked in particular at the opportunities in The Mersey Forest, where 1,000 of those hectares will be planted.

If you missed out, you can now watch the whole event on the video below. It should be of particular interest to land agents and forestry agents, but also to those interested in getting involved and to hear about the funding opportunities.
