Welcome

We hope you enjoy this first edition of our new-look enewsletter, designed to be easier to read whether at your desk or on the move. Do let us know what you think.

Since our last update we've also revamped our website. Launched in January, we've used the new site to chronicle what has been a hectic and exciting winter of tree planting across Merseyside and North Cheshire. We hope you enjoy exploring these new resources and look forward to continuing to work together to create The Mersey Forest.

for local woodlands

The Mersey Forest has secured £275,000 Forestry Commission grant funding for the upcoming financial year to help landowners across Merseyside and North Cheshire to create and manage local woodlands - another great example of the value for money that The Mersey Forest provides to its local authority partners.
