Our work - Play and education

Children love playing and learning in woodlands. The environment of the Forest can engage children in learning, boost health and fitness and increase confidence. Outdoor experiences in nature are a vital part of growing up.

We work with schools to encourage environmental education, deliver 'Forest School' sessions, and help to create more natural school grounds that are fun and attractive learning environments. We also try to encourage 'natural play' in schools and community settings, and we provide educational information within woodlands.
